Ceiling, Side & Door Panels

At Westcoast Transporters, and a member of the MCEA, we have built a name as a  VW conversion specialist. We only use the best quality wood on the market, this enables us to provide a service that will withstand the test of time. In a camper van, the wood can be liable to different temperatures and moisture levels, therefore we use exterior grade hardwood ply as this is weather resistant and is used by most trades for external use. We use 6mm on the sides, ceiling and door panels of the van which are extremely durable and hard wearing but also flexible enough to follow interior contours allowing a perfect finish with nice clean edges. Finally, we use a thicker 12mm for the floor. This gives a solid durable surface with no flex underneath for you to fix your furniture to, whilst also remaining lightweight enough to not give unnecessary wear on your van and engine. All our ply flooring comes with Altro vinyl flooring on top as standard. This is hard wearing and comes in various colours and styles.

Carpet Lining

At Westcoast Transporters, we use a very durable high-quality four-way stretch velour luxury carpet for our bespoke carpet lining service.

The carpets we use are highly durable and high quality and stretch well around windows, curves and wheel arches.

We use a high-temperature glue to hold the carpet in place which means it will withstand varied temperature and moisture.

It comes in the following colours: Anthracite, Graphite, Smoke, Silver, Heather, Artic Blue, Neptune Blue, Dark Blue, Black, Red, Sand, Barley, Stone and Wheat. Price List: £550 – Short Wheel Base Fully Carpeted / £600 – Long Wheel Base Fully Carpeted / £60 – Cab Headlining Carpeted
